A major mixed-use development is transforming the U.S. Highway 521 corridor in Indian Land. The Exchange at Indian Land, a 130-acre project led by Crosland Southeast, is bringing new residential, retail, and dining options to one of Lancaster County’s fastest-growing areas.
Anchored by retailers including Costco and Lowes Foods, the development will feature restaurants, medical offices, and neighborhood retail alongside new housing. The project also includes approximately 320 townhomes by Taylor Morrison and plans for 400 apartment units expected to be delivered in 2027.
With strong population growth and proximity to Charlotte, Indian Land continues to attract significant investment. The Exchange at Indian Land is expected to serve as a key destination along the 521 corridor and a catalyst for continued economic growth in Lancaster County.
