As part of the building’s “Design District,” a collection of suites where leading interior finish vendors display their products to the design and construction community, the space gives the brand a refined home within one of Charleston’s most distinctive historic settings.
A Showroom Within a Historic Shell
Originally constructed in 1906 as naval administrative offices, Storehouse 8 was restored as part of the broader Storehouse Row redevelopment led by Jamestown, Weaver Capital Partners, and WECCO Development, preserving original details such as trim, flooring, hallways, and railings. Within this setting, Iskagna is working alongside Carolina Services Inc. to deliver an interior upfit centered on a showroom anchored by wing bays configured for rotating wall covering displays, paired with dedicated stations for client and designer meetings.
The scope includes demising and interior walls and finishes, a comprehensive low voltage package, and decorative and functional lighting designed to highlight the product displays. A fully exposed duct HVAC system reinforces the space’s industrial character, while plumbing supports a restroom and back-of-house kitchenette.
