Our client purchased the property to develop Windsor Mill Village, which required rezoning. Before work could begin, local residents voiced their concerns about perceived overdevelopment by the project.
We worked with our client and other consultants to address the community’s concerns, which led to general support for the proposed development.

Getting Council Members On Board
Along with our work to ease the concerns of nearby neighbors, our team presented a plan for a Planned Unit Development to the city council. We lobbied for its approval and ultimately obtained approval, paving the way for work to begin.
Windsor Mill was slated as a 30+ acre mixed-use development with planned retail, apartments, senior living, and commercial office space. With so many different use cases, we had to carefully consider the design constraints and balance to ensure everyone was served.
