Recently completed, the Children’s and Women’s hospital for the Medical University of South Carolina is a 625,800 SF new hospital on the Charleston Peninsula.
The project was delivered CM-at-Risk and had an overall project budge in excess of $350 million. One of the main challenges was overcoming a $50 million budget deficit while maintaining the owner’s clinical needs to enable them to be a leading provider for tertiary and quaternary cases in South Carolina. Iskagna’s principal provided services on this project while employed by Cumming Corporation.
